  2. IF the HFPA wanted to get THE ULTIMATE REVENGE for the MASS SNUBBING, then they should hire RICKY GERVAIS to "accept on the behalf" of all the winners. I, for one, WOULD LOVE to hear what he'd have to say when K-STEW inevitably wins for PRINCESS DIANA CASH GRAB BIOPIC #322.
  3. EVERYONE DUMPS ON PIA JUST BECAUSE HER HUSBAND BOUGHT HER THAT GOLDEN GLOBE THAT ONE TIME!!!!! I personally have always felt that as a result, that certain je ne sais quoi that PIA undeniably HAS has been ignored:
  4. There is no such thing as too much iced coffee… (unless it’s bad iced coffee)
  5. YES!!!!!! It used to be ONE HELL of a show- all around. Even after I quit on THE OSCARS I still would watch bits and pieces of THE GLOBES.

  7. something similar happened with LOVE AT FIRST BITE, because of a copyright claim, FOR YEARS the DISCO DANCE scene between the leads played a song other than I LOVE THE NIGHT LIFE (by ALICIA BRIDGES) and it just WRECKED THE SCENE!
  8. yes, many weeks ago! but I literally could not tell you A ONE OF THEM. (The HOLLYWOOD FOREIGN PRESS actually got SNOOP DOGG to agree to announce the nominees on TV, I guess FAYE and WARREN were booked)
  9. https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/tomiobaro/dont-look-up-netflix-review-discussion (an interesting critics roundtable on DONT LOOK UP via buzzfeed)
  10. YOU’RE RIGHT! I forgot completely that I did watch “the toys that made us”: the he-man, the Barbie and the Star Wars action figure episodes, and I am currently watching the Lego episode. thanks, I had forgotten this one! PS – I still say 99.999% of what’s on Netflix is utter dreck

  12. I think I speak for ALL OF AMERICA when I say I would 100% watch every second of THE SNAKES ON A PLANE GRAMMY AWARDS. Probably wouldn't be a very long show though....
  13. but maybe they'll ask GLENN CLOSE to do an encore of her DA BUTT routine
  14. i think the ratings on this years OSCARS are going to be MAKE OR BREAK in re: THE FUTURE OF AWARDS SHOWS. I'm sure they'll probably nominate a bunch of esoteric films and unknown actors and have a four-hour ceremony without using any footage during the ceremony again.
  15. now this: (GRAMMYS postponed indefinitely) https://www.vulture.com/2022/01/grammys-2022-awards-postponed-omicron-covid-19.html ps- THE GRAMMYS are pretty much rock bottom tho
  16. I CARE A LOT (2020) WITH rosamund pike AND dianne weist was technically not bad, but it was SO UNPLEASANT I checked out.... SPOILER Right at the end and before her character gets her well-deserved comeuppance which i only found out about later on
  17. seriously, WHAT DID SHE EVER DO TO YOU OTTO SENSOR!!!???? Did she break your heart? Does the utterance of her name taunt you to this day? so much so you MUST FORBID ITS MENTION???? If so, I can relate, just wish you'd explain....
  18. i haven't seen that, even though i have free access to NETFLIX. I don't think I have ever been able to finish watching a NETFLIX ORIGINAL though, documentary, tv show or movie.
