I've watched a number of these late-night TCM premieres lately. I viewed TWO-WAY STRETCH and DOIN' TIME and I also watched THE HIDDEN and THE TERMINAL MAN.
I was going to watch SCANNERS last night, but I couldn't stay awake.
I like those mid-to-late '70s venereal horror movies from David Cronenberg RABID and THEY CAME FROM WITHIN/SHIVERS + THE BROOD.
Something for Canadian video history trivia buffs (few though they may be):
The Canadian label, ASTRAL VIDEO, released SHIVERS in a big clamshell case circa 1985 and used what appears to be a Canadian television print of the movie. It only runs 77 minutes as opposed to 87 minutes and is missing all sorts of things (extra gunshots, topless shots, Lynn Lowry's full-length kinky "breathing is sexual" speech, et al). I don't know how ASTRAL managed to get hold of a Tv print of 'SHIVERS' instead of an un-cut theatrical print, but they did. And that's what they released.
