  1. I thought it would a simple-but-fun way to narrow things down a bit. Alphabetical order of movie titles not necessary. I figure anyone reading this will be able to think up some movies barely mentioned on other 'Games & Trivia' threads. Lord Knows there's no shortage of movies to go around! Cheers. BLINDFOLD (1966) Rock Hudson, Claudia Cardinale
  2. I think that was Dick Powell's last acting role in a movie. I hope I'm right! If so . . . then who's last movie was this: DEFECTOR, The (1966)
  3. 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA (1954) next: Michael Douglas, Lee Purcell, Joe Don Baker
  4. BRANDED (1950) next: Sean Connery
  5. HILLARY BROOKE in "Abbott and Costello Meet Captain Kidd" (1952) next: Actor who had success in both movies and television
  6. CYRIL POITIER (1911-91), Sidney's older brother. → I was going to say 'Sidney Poitier' at first . . . but then I remembered he was actually born in Miami and not The Bahamas. But his brother was! Next: Actor who died at age 50
  7. HAUNTED HONEYMOON (1986) Next: A 'mystery movie' where the mystery is painfully easy to solve
  8. I remember a movie I gave a second chance to and liked it more the second viewing: DELIRIUM (1979) Filmed in and around St. Louis, MO. The first time I saw it I hated it; I did give it another try and enjoyed it more the 2nd time 'round. The film was banned in the UK as a 'Video Nastie' for a while, but was passed in 1987 after approx. 15-17 seconds worth of footage was cut out. → It seems the BBFC didn't like the topless woman being impaled by the spear . . . so that had to go for DELIRIUM to receive a classification from the almighty BBFC. What a picky bunch! BLOOD! 🩸
  9. CORONER CREEK (1948) next: Jack Lemmon (P.S. One thing about 'Randolph Scott' -- he was in so many Westerns you can name him over and over again and still won't run out of Randy Scott westerns to list).
  10. HYSTERICAL (1983-Comedy) w/The Hudson Brothers
  11. DUNE is one of those movies that has at least 2 versions extant; maybe 3 if there's any 'fan-edits' floating around. Don't like the theatrical version? Check out the version prepared for television. I think David Lynch took his name off the Tv version . . . but who cares? Maybe you'd like the longer version better if you dared to watch it!
  12. I remember when CANDY (1968) came out on homevideo in the late 1990s. ANCHOR BAY released it and I bought the W/S tape. I'd already read the review of "Candy" in the Leonard Maltin Guide so I had a decent idea of what to expect when I watched it. IN regards to MYRA BRECKINRIDGE (1970), however, what a POS that was. All those movie clips I found to be more distracting than I could tolerate. As bad as "Myra" is I can't help but think it would've been better -- relatively speaking -- without so many old movie clips interspersed throughout. The only good thing that came from MYRA BRECKINRIDGE was that I was able to sell my Magnetic VHS tape for a pile of money years ago just before the movie got released on DVD. I do not miss owning that movie. 'nuff said.
  13. @Dargo: I think I will not like Randy Travis's style of singing forever and ever. AMEN. I really don't know why he was so popular. 😜 @james_and_thy_jazzy_guitar: So have you gotten used to the new DJ's voice yet? Have some coffee : ☕
  14. @Dargo: Ya know why I don't like country singer Randy Travis very much? Cos he sings through his damn nose! Ugh!
  15. LAS VEGAS LADY (1976) w/Stella Stevens
  16. VIRGINIA CITY (1940) next: Hedy Lamarr
  17. CHARLESTON (1978-Italian) w/ B. Spencer, J. Coco, H. Lom
  18. NOCTURNA (1978-Comedy). She's Dracula's granddaughter.
  19. COCKEYED COWBOYS OF CALICO COUNTY, The (1970) a Universal Picture
