  1. Correct, Kid Dabb! I thought that it was too easy. Or, you're very good! Your thread.
  2. Hitler, Adolf - Alec Guinness in HITLER: THE LAST TEN DAYS
  3. THE GODSEND - (4/10) - Narcoleptic British chiller. An unknown, uninvited pregnant woman arrives on the doorstep of an English family's country home, and soon thereafter goes into labor, gives birth, then disappears, leaving the newborn to be raised by the bewildered family. As the child grows, they realize their nightmares have just begun! With Malcolm Stoddard, Cyd Hayman, Patrick Barr, and Angela Pleasence. Another nearly-forgotten horror film that astonishingly has fans, somehow.
  4. Frankenstein, Dr. - Gene Wilder in YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN
  5. This silent thriller inspired the creation, over a decade later, of one of the most famous comic book characters. Bonus points for the other silent film that inspired the creation of the most famous comic book nemesis.
  6. Dracula - Francis Lederer in THE RETURN OF DRACULA
  7. Interesting choices, Swithin. KING OF THE ZOMBIES was a surprise discovery for me when I watched a cheap box-set of public domain horror titles some years ago. I enjoyed it. I saw HOLD BACK THE DAWN, but it's been so long I don't recall the Trump significance you mention. MAJOR BARBARA is one I've tried taping before, but it failed for one reason or another. I'm still intent on seeing it. I also want to see SHANGHAI GESTURE despite its reputation, since I'm a Gene Tierney fan. SO ENDS OUR NIGHT I haven't heard of.
