Despite all of the controversy, I'm actually looking forward to this Oscar telecast more so than the last several years, simply for the reason that I don't know who will win. Ever since the media coverage of all the various award ceremonies increased, by the time the Oscars came around, it was foregone who would win. Not so this year.

After the 2015 lists, and then the best of the 2010's so far lists, we'll do the all-time best. Afterward, I'll do a 20 best from the dawn of cinema to 1928; if I'm doing a single list covering a 28 year period, I want more than 10. If you only want 10, that's fine. I'll then do a best of '29 list separately, since it's mainly sound, but that may be less than 10. Does that sound reasonable enough?
