I looked up Bedrooms and Hallways on imdb. It has a very good cast. Coincidentally, another of my now deceased family member's "guys" was in that film as well: James Purefoy. It's a title I never got for her, though. I shall try and watch it in honor of her, as well as by your recommendation.

Bogie, nice call with Brent Briscoe as best supporting actor. He was a clone of one of my brothers-in-law in that film.
I haven't seen The Celebration/Festen, Next Stop Wonderland, Show Me Love, or The Dinner Game.

I thought I would be the only one to mention Happiness. One of the creepiest, most uncomfotable black comedies of all time.

There is an organization in my town going by that name. They hold meetings in our public library every once in a while, and hold rallies in the park in front of city hall.
So my neighbors have already made your joke a reality.
People in my town also hold confederate flag parades. They gather in a vacant lot, and then drive their large pick-up trucks with giant mud tires and even larger confederate flags throughout town, honking their horns, and ending up in the predominantly black neighborhoods, where they make the most noise and try to provoke confrontations.
Because, you know, it's about heritage, not hate.

Nor have I seen SMILLA'S SENSE OF SNOW which used to air on FXM quite often.
You should check it out. The setting is well-done and rarely seen, and I thought Julia Ormond was good.
It was based on a bestseller, which was also good, that helped kick start a big wave of Scandinavian crime fiction getting translated in the U.S.

Swithin, I had an elderly relative who absolutely loved movies, and especially her "guys", a list of about 15 working actors that she really liked, and that she was determined to see all of their work before she was done. Being the movie guy in the family, it naturally fell to me to try and help her see them all. There were bigger stars, such as Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Hugh Jackman. But she also liked some lesser known (at least to the general public) names such as Gael Garcia Bernal, Rodrigo Santoro, and Rufus Sewell. It was for that last gent that I tracked down the at-the-time hard to get film THE WOODLANDERS. I watched the film, and liked it, but after her passing, I didn't think I'd ever hear of it again. It was a surprising choice, and seeing it on your list reminded me of her.
