swithin--wrong Castle, but "Castle" is part of the title. Wrong year.
Hint: Type O.

I just found a buried treat on YouTube, 11 pages in;a deleted song from "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" (1949), "Boys and Girls Like You And Me. I successfully downloaded it above, so you no longer have to search
The clip is in pristine shape, except for the missed chit-chat; (there have only been 33 views in five months!) A forgotten gem.
The last of the four results of this search brings up a deleted duet between Judy Garland and John Hodiak; "My Intuition", from "The Harvey Girls" (1946). It's easy to hear why this was cut: MGM's orchestra overwhelms Hodiak's and Garlands voices. Hodiak had a thin baritone, & Garland is keeping her voice in check so she doesn't overwhelm her co-star.

speedracer5--I am not a technical person, so the computer has been a great thing for me. I have a limited collection of videocassettes (including a lot of Disney vcs), & a small collection of dvds. I watch movies on TCM as they are scheduled.
If I don't like the schedule for the day, there are a LOT of alternate websites to go to (YT and Vimeo being first two choices--VM has (or had, video may still be there) a marvelous copy of Hitchcock's 1926 silent "The Lodger", scored with someones' idea of a silent movie score--TL is still marvelous. There's also a copy of H's "The Manxman" (1929), which is good and clear, but is not my favorite film of his. VM has a "full-screen" option that YT doesn't.
My best way to search if you're not looking for anything specific--type in a classic film stars' name. Do you like silent film? If yes, type "Adolphe Menjou" in the VM "search" & you get a good print of "The Sheik" (1921). among the 4 results. YT currently has a pretty good print of C.B. DeMille's "Unconquered"--Gary Cooper & Paulette Goddard in American History 101. There are So many websites offering once impossible to find films (& films I haven't heard of), it's a movie lovers dream.
I'm probably nuts, but I'm nerving myself up to see Hitchcock's only musical, "Waltzes From Vienna" (1933). If TCM wanted to torture us, they could have showed WFV 70 some times, instead of NBN.

"That's Entertainment Part II" (1976)--Another nostalgia-fest from MGM. This time lesser known musicals & performers are celebrated ("The Great Waltz" (1938) with Miliza Korjus--lady wasn't much of an actress, but had a sweet soprano that was on-key; Bobby Van as a human pogo stick in "Small Town Girl"(1953),to name just two).
Film also celebrates Broadway performers before they became Stars ( Gwen Verdon in the Can-Can from 1952's "The Merry Widow"; TMW star Lana Turner can be glimpsed during cutaways from Verdon's number: Bob Fosse and Carol Haney are shown in "From This Moment On", from 1953's "Kiss Me Kate".
Some of Gene Kelly & Fred Astaires' more memorable numbers are also shown. Kelly or Astaire says in TE II "performances on film are preserved forever (I'm paraphrasing) Unfortunately, we know film doesn't last forever. A visual primer on why films should be preserved, and a fine introduction to MGM musicals--really, musicals in general, IMHO. 8/10 stars.

This duo appeared sporadically in 1940's films. Their two most memorable appearances were with Gene Kelly, and in a film with Cab Calloway. Name both films and the year(s) of release.

OK, I have a question: Why will some YouTube videos post here successfully, and others won't? I just figured out how to post a video two days ago (I'm Not computer adept, LOL). I have posted three videos successfully, two from the same user/channel, no problems. But there is a video that has been up over a year, in Great viewing condition, from my favorite overlooked Sinatra musical Take Me Out to the Ball Game (1949), of the song "It's Fate, Baby, It's Fate. It's from a channel I've posted from before successfully. I've tried to post the video three times, and all I get is a empty, gray screen. Any idea why?? Thanks for answers.

Oh, I LOVE demented versions of American history--would have to be........"The Scarlet Letter" (1995), with Lisa Jolliff-Andoh as Mituba, the Native American maid whose main function seems to be watching through keyholes as Demi Moore as Hester Prynne takes long baths & performs an act well brought up Puritan maidens weren't supposed to know about, or as Hester gets it on with the Reverend Arthur Dimmesdale & Mituba watches...and watches. Mituba helps start an Indian war. Hope that's close enough to being on topic.
High school or college students who watch this movie expecting to get an A on their term papers about the book "The Scarlet Letter" are in for a BIG surprise.

A fine actress, but I remember Lois Nettleton as one of the smartest game show partners on the various incarnations of "The ($10,000, $20,000, $25,000, & $100,000) Dollar Pyramid (1973--1992). Smart, smart lady, who actually cried (more than once) when her partner didn't win the Big Money in The Circle after winning the game.
Adrienne Barbeau (of tvs' "Maude", & who later worked with director John Carpenter in "The Fog" (1979), & Wes Craven in "Swamp Thing" (1982) is also a very smart lady, who made numerous appearances on "The Pyramid"; her first was while she was still on the hit sitcom "Maude (1973--78?). NOT the brainless bimbo she was sometimes cast as.
Digression over. Back to Frank.

Lionel Barrymore--make the mashed potatoes pastel colored to match the sunsets in "Duel in the Sun" (1946).

Sinatra's 100th

Sinatra & Betty Garrett were inspired clowns when they worked together. She made only 4 films at MGM before being blacklisted along with her husband , Larry Parks star of "The Jolson Story" (1946) because he admitted before the House of UnAmerican Activities Committee that he at one time had belonged to the Communist Party. Here's my favorite number from "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" (1949), "It's Fate, Baby, It's Fate" where they play off each other & reverse gender roles, just to make it funnier.
