"Kiss of the Vampire" (1963).
"Vampire Circus" (1972).
"Countess Dracula" (1972)--This is based on the Elisabeth Bathory legend, so I don't count this as a "Dracula" film.
"Captain Kronos, Vampire Hunter" (1974).
"Legend of the Seven Golden Vampires" (1975).
-
"Matango, Fungus of Terror"
"Attack of the Mushroom People" (1962)
Starring Kenji Sohara (sp?)
I don't know the films' other two titles, but now I have a craving for Pizza Hut, LOL.

Good job--You're right.

Your thread Lawrence.

Lawrence--You're correct!
If you haven't seen Navy vs. the Night Monsters (1966), search it out! It is one of those "so bad it's good" movies--well worth searching out! Billy Gray (Bud in "Father Knows Best") and Bobby Van are also in the film.
Your Thread, Lawrence.

Hint--1960's film.
-
This trio of films was loosely based on an 1800's novella, and the name of the connecting character is an anagram of the books' title. Please name the films, the studio that released them, the year(s) of release, and two stars from each film.

TCM is supposed to be showing "Horror Hotel"--but ComCast in East TN is showing a crystal clear print of "City of the Dead" (I know it's an alternate title for "Horror Hotel). Is anyone else getting this print?

Cocaine Madness (1935)--See Title.

The creatures in this unintentionally funny sci-fi movie resemble a cross between weeds, spinach leaves, and trees. It was filmed in ten days by what sounds like a West Coast gasoline company. Name the film and three of the stars.

"Die Nibelungen" (1924).
"Siegfried".
"Kriemhilds Rache".
Directed by Fritz Lang.

Sunday, October 16th. All times E.S.T.
8:15 a.m. "Voice In The Wind" (1944)--Anti Nazi film about how Nazi torture causes a concert pianist to lose his memory, and the aftermath. Starring Francis Lederer and Sigrid Gurie. Was a "Poverty Row" quickie that was elevated to a United Artists release because of the good word-of-mouth. Was nominated for Best Sound and Best Score Oscars. Odd film is worth a watch.

Interesting take on the scene in "How The West Was Won" (1963), where Thelma Ritter plays a widow(?) going West and Debbie Reynolds tries to join her. A look forward to "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" (1964)--Reynolds plays two independent women in both films.
-
"Hombre" (1967)--Starring Paul Newman, Diane Cilento, Fredric March, and Barbara Rush. Directed by Martin Ritt.
Cynical, uninvolving Western where all the characters except Newman's and Cilento's are racist, cowards, out only for themselves, or all three. Newman plays his mixed-race character as stone faced, with minimal dialogue and expression. March is good as the ex-Indian Agent. Rush does well as his wife. Cilento provides welcome humor and humanity to the film.
James Wong Howe's good photography can't disguise the fact that most of the film was shot on a set. The characters hair may be snarled and tangled from the wind, but the scenery behind them is motionless.
"Hombre" was a real disappointment. 2.3/4

Sat., October 15th--One Deborah Kerr classic, one underrated movie. All times E.S.T.
8:00 p.m. "The Innocents" (1961)--Are there really ghosts on the estate, or are they just in the governess' mind?
12:00 a.m. "Eye of the Devil" (1966)--Fair horror film with a good performance by Kerr, good cinematography by Erwin Hillier.

DJBeacon--You're right. I had forgotten about the atomic rays in the plot. I'll be more specific and restate the question later.
Your Thread, DJBeacon.

This sci-fi film is a crazed mix of film noir, aliens from outer space who brainwash vulnerable Americans so the aliens can take over the world, and atomic testing. Name the film, director, and two of the leads.
