  1. Thanks, Miles. Okay here goes.

Woody Allen's films are known for their great musical scores featuring songs from The Great American Songbook.

One Woody Allen film features one song which is written and performed twice by a central character and the song is played often throughout the movie.

    1. Name the movie. 2. Name the song. 3. Name the character and the name of the actor who plays him.

  2. Brewster's Millions (1945) Dennis O'Keefe and Helen Walker

The Millionairess 1960 - Sophia Loren and Peter Sellers

A Fistful of Dollars 1964 - Clint Eastwood

For A Few Dollars More - 1965 - Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef

The Fortune Cookie 1966 - Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau

The Fortune 1975 - Jack Nicholson, Warren Beatty and Stockard Channing

Dollars 1971 - Warren Beatty and Goldie Hawn

Million Dollar Baby 2004 - Clint Eastwood, Hillary Swank, Morgan Freeman

    Slumdog Millionaire - 2008

    Is this correct?

  4. The actress is Jan Miner who became a world-wide icon as "Madge The Manicurist" in the Colgate Palmolive Dish Detergent commercials. She played the part of "Sally" Lenny Bruce's mother in Bob Fosse's film "Lenny" opposite Dustin Hoffman as Lenny Bruce.

  5. Miles,

    You're right I don't post photos because I don't know how.

This actor is Fritz Feld. Wonderful character actor. One of my favorite movies is Bringing Up Baby and he plays the psychiatrist in that film. One of the great memorable faces.

  6. Miles,

The name of the movie is "Tin Pan Alley" and the song and dance routine with ukuleles is I think "Hawaii Lovely Hawaii (pronounced Hawaya). Alice Faye plays Katie Blane and Betty Grable plays Lily Blane.

This was the song that finally became "KKKKKatie" in the movie.

    Is this the correct answer?
