  1. The scene is realistic (a postwar moment, city, enviroment) but it's also formalist. The way Harry Lime appears, he looks like a ghost, a magic trick, something you can watch one moment and dissapear then.
  2. Jane Greer looks like a real femme fatale, smarter than Robert Mitchum. He thinks he is the hunter but actually he will be the hunted hunter.
  3. Amazing the scene with the laconic swede. You don't even see the face, but you want to know everything about him. Why doesn't he mind to die? He did something wrong once. But what? So much strong, hard, to be prepared to die for?
  4. One of my favourite films noir. Incredible way to start a film: "I shall never forget the weekend that Laura died". That really catches your attention from the beginning.
