Thanks, Scsu1975. Next: This character actress made several movies throughout the 1950s and 1960s (she made a couple of films in the 1970s). She also appeared on many TV shows during that time. She is best-known for her role on a 1960s TV show. She made her last TV appearance in the early 1980s. Who is she?

Thanks, Lawrence. Next: This American director was expelled from high school for dropping a stink bomb on the principal's head. (Hey, I thought it was worth mentioning.) After giving up his career as a juvenile delinquent, he found work as a salesman and later became a professional ice hockey player. During World War I, he joined the Foreign Legion and became a fighter pilot. He was discovered by Douglas Fairbanks, who told him that he was good-looking enough to become an actor. However, this man ended up hating acting because he thought it was too "unmasculine". He found that he preferred to do behind-the-camera work. He started out as a messenger boy and worked his way up to become a director. He was nominated for Best Director 3 times and eventually won an Oscar........for Best Story. Please name the director and the film for which he won his Oscar. Feel free to name some of his well-known films.

Thanks, GPF. Next: This actor started off as a disc jockey in the mid-1970s. He later found work as an actor on television and eventually made feature films. He became one of the most popular film actors of the 1980s. He is probably best known for starring in a well-known Disney film and its sequel. Who is it? -
Thanks, Lawrence. I watched that movie just to hear the songs performed by Herman's Hermits. Next: Speaking of the British invasion...... This 1960s film featured performances by several British bands. The opening and closing numbers were performed by a group that would become the most popular British band in America. Please name the film and a few of the bands who were featured in the film.

You are correct, Lavender! I was horrified when I found out what happened to her. You would never guess that there was anything wrong because she performs the number so energetically and flawlessly. Amazing! This is one of my favorite dance numbers, too. Your turn, Lavender.

Hint: She had to wear a back brace while performing the tap dance number.
