  1. Azure, This is the great character actor Charles Lane who passed away at the ripe young age of 102. He probably worked with more directors than I can think of, but he was always a part of Frank Capra's great ensemble of character actors. Truly incredible actor.

Correct!  Good job, Marsha.  Yes, Charles Lane was a wonderful character actor.  I'm glad that you appreciate his talent, too.

    :)

    Your turn, Marsha.

  2. Thanks, Miles.  I don't feel bad about the lost bonus points.  To be honest, I was pretty tired and I didn't really feel like writing out all of the movie titles.  I figured that 2 bonus points were good enough.  LOL

  3. Thanks, Miles.

Next:  OK, this shouldn't be too hard.  You've probably seen this character actor in several movies and TV shows. He often played cranky characters.  He made his film debut in 1930 and he made his last on-screen appearance in the mid-1990s.

  4. This has been dormant all day, so I'll jump in with one...

What mildly popular horror film series of the 80's features a first film, a part two, a part four, but no part three? Name the series, and if you want, the reason there's no part 3.

Hi, Lawrence.  Sorry, but it's actually my turn now.  Would you mind re-posting your question at another time?  Thank you.

  6. Well, CFK was a star in all those newreels of his life. Maybe they could have had his second wife Susan as a movie actress instead of an opera singer, but then that would have been too close to Hearst and Davies' actual story.

Oops!  I completely missed the "movie star" part of the category.  All I had in my mind was "fictional biography".  Sorry about that!
