  1. Is it Luis Alberni?  He was in "Roberta" with Fred and Ginger, as well as "The Lady Eve" with Hank and Babs.

Correct!  Good job, Miles.  I saw Luis Alberni in Easy Living (the film with Jean Arthur, not the one with Lucille Ball).

    Your turn, Miles.

  2. OK, here's another one.

Next:  Do you recognize this character actor?  I saw this guy in a movie that I watched the other day.  He stole every scene that he was in.  He appeared in a few silent films and several short films, but he is best known for his sound films.  He usually appeared in comedies.  He made his first feature-length sound film in the early 1930s and he made his last film in the mid-1950s.

  3. Charlie Chaplin Studios -- founded in 1917.

The Mary Pickford Corporation was briefly Mary Pickford's production company.

Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks, Sr. and D.W. Griffith founded United Artists so that they could have complete control over their own films

  4. OK, you're talking about Christmas AND the Beach Boys???  You must be my soul sister, Princess.  Great thread idea.  To help to get the party started, let's have a little music.  Here's "Little Saint Nick" by the Beach Boys.

To answer your question:  It's Margaret O'Brien in Meet Me in St. Louis.
