  1. Thanks, Princess. Next: A man angrily throws a fur coat off of a balcony. The fur coat lands on a woman who is riding on the top of a double-decker bus.
  2. Yes, that's correct, Miles. Good job. Your turn.
  3. Peter Graves Hugh Marlowe John Agar Richard Carlson Jeff Morrow
  4. Well said! I completely agree with you. I wish that they had used the original ending.
  5. Princess of Tap, Frank Sinatra actually sang two songs to Grace Kelly in that movie. Both songs were written by Cole Porter. One of them is "You're Sensational" and the other is "Mind If I Make Love to You". Which song are you thinking of?
  6. Woman of the Year -- The original ending had Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy take more of an interest in each other's careers and pastimes. Unfortunately, this didn't seem to be very popular with the test audience. It was decided that Hepburn's character should suffer some humiliation since she was so strong and successful in a "man's world". This ending went against Katharine Hepburn's wishes, but the test audience seemed to like the ending.
  7. Yes, that's correct. Your turn, Lavender.
  8. Thanks, Princess. Next: Two real-life sisters appeared in a 1950s western. In fact, they portrayed the same person! The younger sister played the character (as a child) and the older sister played the character (as young woman). Name the sisters and the movie.
  9. That is correct! Your turn, Gipper.
  10. Yes, I forgot all about Virginia Weidler! Kevin Corcoran would have made the list if he hadn't made one last movie in 2009. Before he made that film, his last movie was in 1968 (he was about 19 years old).
  11. That certainly fits the clues very well but, unfortunately, that's not the answer. Those films can also be eliminated from the list. The actress who is linked to the other 3 made several films, but she was primarily known as a stage actress.
  12. Marlene Dietrich and her daughter, Maria Riva, were both in The Scarlet Empress (1934). Is this the answer that you're thinking of?
  13. Film Lover, your post was actually the 9th one. We posted at almost exactly the same time! LOL 10.) She became known as the "Queen of the B movies" on the Warner Brothers lot. Next: Ida Lupino
  14. Merry Andrew MONRA NLSSDCAA
  15. 5.) This film was based on the book of the same name by Betty MacDonald.
  16. Your answer fits the clues very well but, unfortunately, it's not the answer that I'm looking for. Roles that these actresses have played have a connection to another well-known actress. This may help a little -- None of the roles that have already been mentioned are the roles that I'm thinking of, so you can cross them off the list.
  17. Thanks, Princess. Since there are so many trivia threads up right now, I'm going to leave this thread open.
  18. Thanks, Princess. Next: "When you say 'others', do you mean....OTHERS? More than one 'others'???" Name the speaker and the movie.
  19. Thanks, Star. Next: In The Wizard of Oz, what is the name of the city that Dorothy and her friends travel to in order to see the wizard?
  20. Sybil Jason -- She made her last movie when she was about 13 years old. Baby Peggy almost made it.....she made her last movie when she was 20 years old.
  21. Anne Shirley Next: Suzanne Burce
