According to the star of this very famous film, the famous fight scene in this film had the 2 actors using real metal weapons to fight each other. They tried using rubber but that didn't work, so instead they opted to use the real metal weapons and the star said it was extremely dangerous. Film and the 2 actors ???

Thanks Azure, I did know this bit of info before watching the wonderful TV series FEUD, did you get to watch the show?
I heard about the show, but I've never watched it. I was looking up something about Joan after watching one of her movies and I came across that information. I read that Bette and Olivia celebrated Joan's departure by toasting each other with bottles of Coca-Cola and singing "Ding Dong, the Witch is Dead". Joseph Cotten and Robert Aldrich supposedly joined the celebration. Did they mention anything about that on the TV show? Just curious....

Next: Since the teaming of Bette Davis and Joan Crawford proved to be successful (on film, at least), the two actresses were later teamed up for another film. Negative things happened to Joan during production and she was convinced that Bette was behind all of it. After filming a few scenes, Joan claimed that she was sick and went to a hospital. Joan was accused of feigning illness just to get away from the set. Since her long absence was holding up production, the director replaced her with another well-known actress.
