I, too, want to add my appreciation to everyone involved in creating this fabulous Hitchcock experience. I came into this class as a big Hitch fan, and my passion for his film-making artistry has only deepened. Huge thanks to Professor Edwards and Gehrig for those wonderful daily conversations, to Ben and Alexandre for their illuminating pre- and post-viewing chats, and to TCM for a Hitch-lover's programming dream come true. Thank you all for an amazing online class about my all-time favorite director!

Our Members Tributes to Robert Osborne (1932-2017)

I don't often post on message boards, but I had to share my sadness at Robert's passing and express my gratitude for all that he gave to our TCM family. Simply put, I doubt there would still be a TCM had it not been for Robert... and it surely won't be the same without him. -
I had the same thought about the advertising, or lack thereof. It really is a shame. TCM does a great job promoting the events on its channel, but individual movie theaters do not seem to be building off of that publicity.

Thanks, Eugenia! It was quite an experience having the movie shown just for me. Although, I have to confess, I did look around the theater during the shower scene. Sad, but true. LOL However, I was really hoping for my viewers. This is a multi-plex theater about 10 minutes from my home. I would love for it to continue to show these TCM screenings.

Hi, everyone! I'm a recently-retired longtime movie fan, and this is my first post on the TCM message board. So, I'm really enjoying these 2:00 Wednesday TCM special screenings. Went to see Psycho yesterday. Although I've seen the movie lots of times on television, this was my first time to see it on the big screen. Loved it! Sadly, I was the only one in the theater.... but I must say that made for an even eerier movie-going experience.
