I don't see what this special Texas Congressional race has to do with trump facing an embarrassing setback.

He already faced that on the first Tuesday of November last year.

Meghan McCain isn't in the same league with Dr Mary Trump. Meghan seems to be drawn toward lose- lose situations, like the mess that she made of herself with "The View."

Husband was a director, particularly in television. He was especially famous for his work in one genre.  His father was famous.

Wife appeared in more than 100 films,  playing mostly small and supporting roles. She segued into television, primarily appearing on single episodes.

Wife had nothing to do with any Star Trek characters. 😀  She was, however, on a highly regarded single episode of a very popular 1950s (not comedy) series.

Name the couple, a few of Husband's classic TV directorial connections, and some of the wife's credits that you may like.

Only person I can think of is Victor McLaglen's son, Andrew McLaglen. He directed everything on classic TV from "Gunsmoke" to "Perry Mason"and the ubiquitous "Wagon Train".

I've seen two of his movies-- starring William Holden in "The Devil's Brigade" and James Stewart in "The Rare Breed".

I've seen his second wife Veda Ann Borg in two movies--

"The Falcon in Hollywood" with Tom Conway and "The Bachelor and The Bobby-Soxer", starring Cary Grant.

He's phenomenal because I think he directed more classic TV than Ida Lupino, which is quite an accomplishment for a man. 😘

blood work at the doctors office is why I am such a terrified man.

Before I was in kindergarten I had some kind of serious problem and my parents had to take me to a specialist.

I was around 4 years -old and they stuck needles in me for about 5 minutes to draw blood.

    I was exhausted but I didn't cry.

It doesn't hurt so much if you don't look at the needles.

My advice to you is pretend you have the courage of a

    4 year-old child.

Princess, was he one of the original "Hollywood Ten" or was he blacklisted later?

Miles, the Hollywood 10 was the first part of the Hollywood 19.

This director was one of those last 9 unfriendly witnesses to the HUAC in 1947.

After being blacklisted, he ended up working in England.

26 states — all but one led by a Republican — have moved to stop paying out the extra $300 in unemployment benefits ahead of the September cutoff.

Some also ended special programs that allowed gig workers to receive benefits.

Kansas is led by a female Democrat who really knows what to do with that Republican legislature.
