Hey, Marsha-- doesn't that just take you back? Marsha, your turn-- -
Terrence-- the people that I was thinking about had more money than Republic pictures. But that is such a good answer, I think you deserve the thread. And I'll keep my question for another day. LOL Terrence-- you're in the driver's seat now!

Kid-- Judy's Hair always looked so beautiful for the first two or three numbers and then she just put our hands in it, got expressive and it was all gone. Next: A lot of money was spent on this East European actress in Hollywood but it was all for naught. Who was she and who spent the money on her?

Believe it or not, I'm not a particular fan of westerns. But I follow the actor or actress, so I've seen a great many Gary Cooper westerns. There were two that were kind of rough to watch-- but they were good. I'm talking about Vera Cruz and The Hanging Tree. If it's ugly, it was probably in one of these two movies. I was wondering what people thought of Coop's characters in these movies - - particularly his character in The Hanging Tree--also in terms of his character's character.

Before there was Barbie, there was another beautiful young lady fashion doll to the Delight of little girls in the 1950s. Reportedly, this doll was modeled after a beautiful Hollywood actress who also co-starred in an early 1950s TV series. We need the name of the actress, her early TV series and, of course, the name of that beautifully coiffed and sophisticated doll.

This question Make Me Feel So Young - - One of the few times I get to say that I was too young to remember this show. Alan Hale jr., who was Casey Jones to me on classic TV, apparently was somebody else before that. Starring in Biff Baker, USA, Alan Hale fought the Cold War single-handedly in the very early early fifties.

Azure-- What did I say about you always being right? LOL Georgie Fame is a treasure that has not been unwrapped often enough. I just love Yeh,Yeh but, I never could get a copy of this Bonnie and Clyde record. Azure, you're up--

Miss-- I forgot to ask you. Have you already been to one of Brian Wilson's Pet Sounds concerts?
-
Miss-- You have me at a disadvantage. I'm not familiar with any of these "young" actors. Except I've seen Paul Giamatti on Downton Abbey playing Shirley MacLaine's son and he was fabulous. I had never seen Elizabeth Banks before; it sounds like a broken record but she was superb too. I was happy that the producers of this movie we're able to get the best actors of the day who were not just good but really at the top of their game right now. And Brian Wilson's life deserved the best. I've heard a lot of good things about John Cusack in the past but I personally don't really know anything about his acting. I just know that he's considered to be a great actor. He was a big name and I was thrilled that they cast him in the part. Unfortunately not knowing any of his other work, I would know what to compare it to. He just seemed very uncomfortable and disjointed in Love & Mercy. Perhaps it had something to do with the structure of the film. Or perhaps it had something to do with the fact that Paul Dano nailed his part so unbelievably, fantastically well that people just didn't want him to leave the screen. And I was one of those people.LOL
