Marsha- - David O Selznick produced the 1937 a star is born. His company was called Selznick International Pictures. Selznick released his films through United Artists distribution.

Marsha-- it doesn't get any better than this--The Broadway melody of 1940 starred three great tap dancers--Eleanor Powell was my favorite & the top-billed tap dancer here. The other two that you're referring to who got mixed up in the plot were- - Fred Astaire and George Murphy. Eleanor was confused as to which was which. But it didn't take her too long to figure out which one was the better tap dancer. So Ellie ends up tap dancing the finale was Fred Astaire.
