Lewis J.  Selznick was David's father, Louis B. Mayer was Irene Selznick's father. 

Irene was a socialite and theater, producer. A Streetcar Named Desire, Bell Book and Candle and she was nominated for a Tony for The Chalk Garden 

David O. Selznick won Oscar's for Gone With The Wind and Rebecca

Irene Mayer Selznick's is one of the best autobiographies I've ever read about moguls and The Golden Age film industry. She was a brilliant  and beautiful woman.
