Hey Mr.. Gorman.....thanks for the catch. That error has been fixed. As for Brenda Marshall I will add her to the request list. Over the years I have done a current actor and then a classic actor....thinking I am going to concentrate on the classic ones for awhile. Thanks for the input. -

The other day when I posted my AFI Screen Legends 5 year project. http://www.ultimatemovierankings.com/american-film-institute-top-50-screen-legends/ Jakeem said he had identified over 2 dozen movies that starred at least 3 of the AFI legends. I can only come up with 19.....which ones am I missing? I did not count some of the all-star studio movies...where the stars pretty much played themselves. Philadelphia Story, The (1940) Key Largo (1948) How the West Was Won (1963) Cheyenne Social Club, The (1970) Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (1967) Sabrina (1954) Unforgiven, The (1960) In Harm's Way (1965) Judgment at Nuremberg (1961) Now and Forever (1934) Dancing Lady (1933) On the Beach (1959) Wife vs Secretary (1936) Boom Town (1940) Longest Day, The (1962) Mogambo (1953) Monkey Business (1952) Fort Apache (1948) Snows of Kilimanjaro, The (1952) Tales of Manhatten (1942)

Hey Princess of Tap.....I know many people like The Rules of the Game....when I did a quick check on the Sight Sound list La Règle Du Jeu popped up....and I did not know that was French for Rules of the Game. Feel pretty dumb...especially since it turns out that I have seen La Règle Du Jeu. Hey Lawrence A....glad you are a fan of La Règle Du Jeu...I still like the AFI list more than the Sight and Sound list. Hey GregoryPeckfan.....will do.....I know your Oscar boycott is about to start....not thinking any new stuff will happen tomorrow...we are having our 16th Annual Oscar party tomorrow night....so I am not seeing much time for the internet myself. Hey Mr. Gorman.....I love your comment....I would like to include on my page on my website..if that is ok with you. I will have to check some of the movies you mentioned....you make them sound interesting for sure. I agree with you 100% about Easy Rider. I saw Night To Remember just last year...it made my Top 10 for the year....and I watched over 600 movies in 2015. Far outshines Titanic. Glad you itching hands were ready to go. -

Hey Fedya....I always shake my head when I see the latest Sight and Sound list come out. They seem to go out of there way to include movies that most people have never heard of.....it is like they are saying they are smarter than everbody else because they think La Règle Du Jeu is one of the greatest movies ever made. I am a huge fan of movies....but I have never even heard of it before I looked up their list while typing this comment. -

The AFI Top 5: #1 Citizen Kane #2 The Godfather #3 Casablanca #4 Raging Bull #5 Singin' In The Rain By Box Office Results: #1 Gone With The Wind #2 Star Wars #3 Sound of Music #4 ET #5 Titanic By Critic and Audience Reviews: #1 The Godfather #2 Casablanca #3 Schlinder's List #4 Rear Window #5 Godfather 2 By Oscar Awards: #1 Titanic #2 Ben-Hur #3 West Side Story #4 Tied Gone With The Wind, Cabaret & On The Waterfront By My UMR Score: #1 The Godfather #2 One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest #3 Lawrence of Arabia #4 Schindler's List #5 Godfather 2 My Personal Top 5: #1 The Bridge on the River Kwai #2 Raiders of the Lost Ark #3 To Kill a Mockingbird #4 The Philadelphia Story #5 Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid There is no right answer or wrong answer...it is just a different way to look at these great movies. Hey misswonderly3....statistically One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest has it all.....it was a monster hit...87th biggest hit of all-time when looking at adjusted grosses.....got great reviews from critics.....loved by audiences....and then it became the 2nd movie ever to win all the big Oscars...joining It Happened One Night. Not many movies can make that claim. Actually of the 26,000 movies in my database that look at those three categories....only the Godfather has better overall numbers. -

Hey GregoryPeck fan....thanks for sharing the link....just got through going through the table..this is what I thought was the most interesting stuff. On the actor side: James Stewart, Robert DeNiro and Harrison Ford lead the way with 5 movies on the Top 100. Dustin Hoffman, Marlon Brando, Humphrey Bogart and Robert Duvall have 4 movies. On the actress side: Katharine Hepburn leads the way with 3 movies in the Top 100. Meryl Streep, Vivien Leigh, Marilyn Monroe, Jodie Foster, Grace Kelly and Natalie Wood have 2 movies. On the director side: Steven Spielberg leads the way with 5 movies in the Top 100. Stanley Kubrick, Billy Wilder and Alfred Hitchcock have 4 movies . The average adjusted domestic box office gross for the Top 100 AFI movies is $368.60 million. 73 of the AFI Top 100 movies were nominated for a Best Picture Oscar® nomination. 28 of the AFI Top Movies won the Best Picture Oscar®. Overall the AFI Top 100 movies earned 648 Oscar® nominations…winning 265 Oscar®. When looking at the lowest scoring movies according to critics and audiences there are a few surprises. Nashville was the worst reviewed AFI Top 100 movie (not too surprising) but Titanic as the 2nd worst movie and Forrest Gump as the 3rd worst movie by critics and audiences. The average critic/audience rating is 88.50%….according to RottenTomatoes.com…..60% is the gold standard for a good movie. -

Hey film lover 293.....Sextette is brutal to watch....Timothy Dalton is the male lead....he marries Mae West at the beginning of the movie....and spends the entire movie trying to consummate the marriage....but all of West's exs (Tony Curtis, Ringo Starr) keep showing up and causing chaos. West either near 80 or older when she played this sex goddess...and somehow it did not work. As for The Naked Zoo....one of Rita's Hayworth's last movies...I think she made one more...I have not seen all of it...but the parts I saw were sad and bad. Hey jamesjazzguitar.....Flynn was never considered a great actor (think Orlando Bloom today) but he appeared in lots of popular movies...I think there list is like the NCAA baseketball tournament....some are just lucky to be in the tournament....while there are truly only 7 or 8 teams that have a serious chance to win it all. Hey gregorypeckfan....thanks for the support....you are awesome. Hey if the AFI list and my pages help shed some light on some forgotten greats....then that makes me very happy. Yesterday was the best day ever for my website....and today is pretty good too. Those screen legends are pulling in some views. -

Hey GregoryPeckFan....pretty sure when you did a new Cary Grant comment...you are at 100%. So glad I decided to move the comments when I moved website pages. I find them very interesting to read as time passes by. AFI has lots of great page ideas.....I think I am going to knock some of the requests....since they seem to be backing up on me. This has been a very good day for my website...closing in on the best day ever...and still have almost 6 hours left. About to cross the 10,000 hit/impression mark....my best day ever was right above 11,000 hits. As for your contribution...I know of no one better to come up with some facts on Mr. Peck. -

Hey TomJH....I agree with you about Bacall....but it is hard to compare her to Power, Crosby, Hope and Flynn....but if you compare her to Olivia de Havilland it is no contest....Bacall has the Bogart movies.....but by the 1960s she was comfortable in supporting roles. I do agree with last part of the your comment 100%. FYI...I have pages on all 4 actors you mentioned....all of them were beasts at the box office. Hey Lawrence....Dean is on the list...and is actually all the way up in 18th spot....I give him credit for 3 outstanding movies...but seems there would be other more deserving people for the list. That being said...his was the easiest page to do....it did not take long to research 3 movies. -

Hey GGGGerald....good points....lists make good bar talk.....or in this era internet talk. Hey Lawrence A.....Mae West was a legend....but in her case the legend does not look as good when you shine a light on it. She had 3 good movies...and only made 12 movies. -

Hey NipkowDis.....John Wayne was the man....my Wayne page has been one of my more popular webpages on all three of my websites. Hey jamesjazzguitar.....Overall I liked the list...I agree that actor list is better than the actress.....I like Bacall and Gardner.....but the fact that Maureen O'Hara and especially Olivia de Havilland did not make the list seemed very wrong. -

Probably 80% of them? Gotta think Bogart, A. Hepburn, K. Hepburn, J. Cagney, C. Grant, C. Gable, D. Day, S.Tracy, R. Hayworth, C. Lombard, B. Lancaster, K. Douglas, G.Kelly, O. Welles, J. Crawford, B. Davis, G. Peck, J. Wayne, S.Temple had to have been given that honor. -

How about Dana Andrews in The Frozen Dead (1966) or Crack In The World (1965)....he pretty much destroyed the planet in the second movie.
