  1. Now, I *love* the other films you have listed besides Mr. Deeds.
  2. I'll post another one: What Canadian actress launched a campaign against KFC because of the way the company treated chickens?
  3. These movie star brothers had hit TV series. One was about spies. The other was about the law.
  4. I don't know why I don't like it. I have an interesting reaction to Cooper movies. I love his westerns. My favourite film is High Noon. His performance in Pride of the Yankees moves me to tears. But when he plays hokey characters in comedies I am more laughing at him than with him.
  5. I am a fan of Desire. I have never cared for Mr. Deeds Goes to Town. I don't have anyone from that film on my list. I have yet to see The General Died at Dawn.
  6. Yes, that wonderful McQueen film Escape From Fort Bravo. My first choice as a replacement. I am looking forward to Baby, the Rain Must Fall which I am recording. It is new to me.
  7. I'm a big fan of Steve McQuuen, King of Cool. Baby the Rain Must fall is airing in Canada and it is brand new to me. I'm recording it.
  8. I re-recorded Seven Samerai which I had to delete from my PVR last time before I watched it. Have I mentioned my tendency to keep PVR recorded movies recorded? Yes?
  9. 501: We're obviously not in Canada anymore as these people are pointing at us and I heard that Canadians were polite.
  10. Thank-you. I am a major fan of Columbo. Next clue will deal with another TV detective: Which TV detective had to be in a wheelchair, and what was the name of the actor's other TV series?
  11. That's correct, Lawrence. I hear that there are plans to make another version with Martin Sheen attached to the project.
  12. That's right Miles and thanks for the clip. It is my favourite scene from that movie. Your turn.
  13. That's correct. You have to love Wood's love of movies, as bad as he was. I loved the movie made about him where Martin Landau plays Bela Lugosi. Your thread.
  14. I'm not likely to be able to post photos, but I believe this is Drew Barrymore.
  15. 1) Richard Kiley played his superior. 2) Columbo tripped him up by planting evidence in an apartment he rented for the purpose and changing the address of the man Kiley framed which was not his address.
  16. I didn't watch any Heston double feature on Sunday, although I did watch Touch of Evil. I have seen all the original Planet of the Apes films one after another one year when some channel was airing Roddy MacDowall movies all day. My favourite Heston movie title would not surprise anyone given my favourite actor is Gregory Peck: It is The Big Country
  17. I'll take it then. NEXT: Which Canadian book has been adapted into big screen and television movies several times? It is a family favourite.
  18. Well, you know Dargo, a lot of movie stars were given manly names to off set their real life secret preference. Hence the names ROCK HUDSON and TAB HUNTER
  19. I don't get Nick at Nite, but I get a similar type of channel called MeTV and some of their commercial cuts are weird. I have original Star Trek: TOS episodes as well as Season 2 of I Love Lucy, and various other TV shows. It is quite odd to see the cuts made compared to what is actually in the whole episode.
  20. Time for another clue: This actor's TV western was short lived. However, it lives on in re-runs on MeTV. Meanwhile, this actor became a huge movie star in westerns and war films that have an all-star cast. One of the westerns has a number in the title.
