My Darling Greg as I like to call him. This is a gorgeous photo. I am not sure how to put it on this thread as a non-outside link.

Yes, I have seen Cannonball Run. Hate it.
Suddenly is a taut thriller that runs at a great clip speed. It is this is the one which Sinatra had control over - not The Manchurian Candidate - that he got put away for a long time after Kennedy was shot.

Did anyone watch Young Man With Ideas as it aired earlier on TCM today?
I saw that movie recently for the first time.
Not sure now how many of Glenn's big screen movies I have yet to see. I think there might be only about 20 left.
-
Thanks, Lawrence for the update.
I am a big fan of The Rockford Files.
-
You know their voices were quite similar too, Banis.

Thanks for starting this great thread!
That is a hot picture of Glenn Ford!

You know of course, Vautrin that MissW does not actually watch porn movies, right?
These posts of hers are a reference to a 20th Century Vole screenplay I wrote called The Posts of Miss Muir designed to help get a quoted post of mine about the 1951 version of M deleted as only you can delete your own posts or have the moderator delete them.
The script is so funny that MissW and I have been playing ALONG EVER SINCE.
I SAY I AM UNDERPAID HERE!
What's that you say? I am not getting paid anything????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent news, Classic.

Thanks, Cigarjoe for another noir to put on my to-see list.

Thanks for the handsome picture of Peter Graves!
Robert Donat was ill for much of his life so he could not make many movies. He is forever in my memory not just as Mr. Chips, but also as a Hitchcock actor.
I love The 39 Steps.
As much as I have seen Horton movies, TCM has been airing plenty of new to me films and I have been recording these.

Vautrin, MissW would have people tracking her internet activity.
Since TCM would be airing them anyway, no one would know if we were watching.
Oh, except maybe our neighbours....

Hey GPFan....looks like you have found some serious Gregory Peck fans.

Yes, Classic I have indeed.
I can spend hours talking about My Darling Greg and never tire of the topic.

His 100th birthday is being celebrated on TCM with a night of his movies on his real birthday -
Tuesday night-
I have choir.
Hmmm. Sick that night?

7) James Mason agreed to play the lead in Lolita after several famous actors turned down the film.

Yes again, Azure.
Mason found The General and wanted to get in touch with Keaton to let him know the great find, and found Keaton so non-famous that he was actually listed in the phone book.
Your thread.

That's right, Azure.
John Candy appeared opposite O'Hara in Only the Lonely (which I have still not seen).
It's your thread.

YOUNG MAN WITH IDEAS is currently airing on TCM as part of the birthday salute to Horton.
This is a delightful comedy and I encourage people to watch it.
