Oh, yes, Cave Girl can you imagine a TCM spotlight on Mr. Smithee?
I wonder if Sister Rose would be available to host......

MissW;
Yes, Best Boy - sounds kind of like a reference in today's world to a faithful dog:
Who's the Best Boy, sweetheart? Who's the Best Boy? You are!

You know, limey,
If someone makes a movie by with that title of
People Who Are Dead Don't Blink Either
I am going to insist on a cut of the profits.
It reminds me of the title Dead Men don't Wear Plaid.

Yes, this reminds of Ricardo Montalban's career, James.

Shakespeare in Love
Tootsie (at least to the character who falls in love with Tootsie)

2) This film has one of the most famous one liners from the second half of the 20th century:
"Nobody puts Baby in a corner."
-
Raymond Burr, my favourite Canadian-born actor of all time
Next:
lorne Greene or Pernell Roberts?

6) He once owned the house that had been owned by Buster Keaton and had it remodeled.

A reminder to people who haven't seen it yet that Young Man with Ideas is up next today on TCM and it is a comedy which is much fun.

I have seen 16 movies of Miss Ball's career so far. I know I LOVE LUCY extremely well.
I saw Dance, Girl, Dance most recently for the first time of her movies.
I am so glad that she and Desi decided to form Desilou studios.

I have seen THE COMEDIANS and I feel the need to warn you.
The title of the film is irony . It is not a comedy and there is not a single line of dialogue that is funny. It is actually a very depressing movie.
Other titles you mention:
Cleopatra I have seen and again as you say, the behind the scenes events tend to overshadow this movie.
I have not yet seen the Claudette Colbert version.
I have seen Caesar and Cleopatra based upon the GBS play with Leigh as Cleopatra and Rains as Caesar and I have to say this is my favourite portrayal of Cleopatra that I have seen so far.

Thanks... If she had been in Voyager I may have watched the series.
Next:
This Canadian actor/comedian made a comedy with Maureen O'Hara late in her career and then he died young.
-
Surely, you can't be serious?
Of course I'm serious! And don't call me Shirley
-
I've seen both versions and I appreciate them for different reasons.
-
Okay, so I looked up Voyager to see who was replaced by Kate Milligrew.
Is the answer:
Genevieve Bujold (excuse bad spelling here)
-
HINT: This actor who found The General while remodelling what was once Buster Keaton's home was famous for his ability to play both lead and supporting roles, heroes and villains, and his films air on TCM often.
-
Claude Rains was in The Adventures of Robin Hood with Basil Rathbone.
-
Beloved Enemy
Next:
Continental Europe
-
I'm only familiar with The Original Series and The Next Generation.
Was it one of those?

Misswonderly:
The beginning of the movie as Welles imagined it with no credits was in fact restored after he died by Welles fans and historians with the credits at the end of the film instead. This restored version did air on TCM some time ago.
Hopefully this new version will be what TCM airs.

Yes, well I have recorded it and several others I have not seen today and will watch it at another time.
Re; Malton:
The late Roger Ebert knew that film lovers paid attention to him even when disagreed with him. Sometimes they would KNOW that they would love a film because he hated it and hate it because he loved it.
So he was still a trusted film reviewer.
As for L.M, well, when he worked for ET I could not trust anything he said, because his job was to sell movies of the hottest stars regardless of their quality.
