SO THIS I LOVE:
Colour musical biopic about opera singer Grace Moore I had not seen before starring Kathryn Grayson as Grace Moore.
This was brand new to me and a lot more interesting to me than the movie I started to watch earlier called The Picasso Summer.
It was full of great music, great singing, and wonderful cinematography.
I would certainly watch this again.

I'm going to take an ironic guess here with your new avatar and say Richard Burton.

I have never considered this movie famous or important enough to be hated.

Yes, Martin did a lot of jokes like that.
The Rat Pack aka The Clan made a lot of politically incorrect jokes that are in bad taste.
I was listening to The Rat Pack at the Sands performance CD which as several numbers of jokes which would make most people cringe.
I often wonder about what Sinatra thought of that joke.
Of course, Sinatra Sr. could not fathom not performing and did not know what to do with himself when he could no longer sing. One retirement lasted a mere 2 years.
When Martin lost his son in an avalanche, Sinatra Sr. tried to get him to continue performing, but Martin didn't have the heart for it anymore.

I don't know if you saw that it was based on a Ray Bradbury short story. The story's better, one of his best. That's probably why someone tried to make a movie of it. Problem is, there's not enough in the story to make a feature movie of it. Someone with the right touch might make a short film of it, and capture the magic in it--and its astonishing ending. But you remind me to check the movie. It promises to be exceptional in that it could have art by a recognized artist, yet created in their style for this movie.
Yes, I did see ray Bradbury in the credits which likely gave me the impression that it would be a great movie.
There is indeed a lot of artwork in this movie that is Picasso artwork. There is also artwork created in the style of Picasso.
Usually, I enjoy performances by Albert Finney.
