  1. I'm heading off to choir and I have a very good reason for wanting people to pay attention to this thread and help out in the Games and Trivia threads here: MOVIE SCRAMBLE and ULTIMATE MOVIA TRIVIA This thread I think will help answer both questions which I posed.
  2. Okay, let me type this out again in one post: WHAT COLUMBIA MOVIE WESTERN WAS FILMED IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER BECAUSE THE STUDIO WANTED TO SAVE TIME IN TRYING TO TEACH A NON-HORSEMAN ACTOR TO RIDE A HORSE WHEN HIS CHARACTER HAD TO LEARN TO RIDE A HORSE? THE STAR OF THE FILM WAS A WELL KNOWN COLUMBIA MOVIE STAR WHO MADE WESTERNS. THE NEW ACTOR IS AN AFI LEGEND. THE STAR OF THE MOVIE IS NOT AN AFI LEGEND. I want the name of the actor who starred in the movie whom I have stated I am a big fan of and created a thread in the favourites section called ---- ---- Fans Here I also want the name of the movie which is a one word title. Finally, I want the name of the soon to be movie star who was taught how to ride a horse and is an AFI legend.

  12. Hi, CMR (I had to delete your real name because I automatically typed it) Just an hour away from me getting ready for choir! Glad you included both of these classic names to your list of names to research. I did share the Claude Rains page on my Hitchcock thread and the Casablanca thread. I am sure that casablanca1000views would be interested too. Like Steve, I was surprised that you had not already done a Capra page.
  13. EXTREMELY HUGE HINT: I have created a thread about the star of this movie in the favourites section.
  14. 5) This movie has a similar theme to many war films in that the commanding officer is replaced by someone who is disliked by the men he has under his new command.
  15. The Outsiders: Tom Cruise, Emilio Estevez, Patrick Swayze, Matt Dillon, Rob lowe etc.
  16. Oh, yes I am one of the haters. Someone tell whoever it was that came up with that line that: EVERY BOX OF CHOCOLATES I HAVE EVER SEEN COMES WITH A SERIES OF PICTURES WHICH DESCRIBE WHAT IS IN THE CHOCOLATES! If that were a realistic line it would say: Life is like a box of chocolates. Some boxes are tastier than others.
  17. Yes, well I am glad that I have choir tonight and won't be home. However, Tuesday night is also the night that is the 100th birthday of my Darling Greg. Gregory Peck was born on April 5th in 1916 and TCM is planning on airing Gregory Peck movies in the evening. Perhaps I can be "sick"?
