Canadiana-Trivia About Canadians in Movies
GregoryPeckfan replied to GregoryPeckfan's topic in Games and Trivia
Crime show? Rats. He did appear in Bonanza with Lorne Greene but that is a western. I'll keep looking. -
Richard Dawson because I am also a fan of Hogan's Heroes. Next; Two famous hosts: Johnny Carson or Ed Sullivan?
-
Madigan
-
I have not seen the first two films you mention, so I cannot help you there. I'm not sure what to do about Harry or Brooklyn myself. Bogie?
-
Thanks, Spence! I used to refer to myself as "Off Somewhere Singing" but I decided to change it to "listening to Sinatra." I believe the phrase is "Membership Title" My favourite is the one that Speedracer5 has. She is a big fan of Errol Flynn, so she calls herself 'Errol Flynn's girlfriend in an alternate, parallel universe."

No, Sans Fin hope you will never shut up and fade back into the woodwork. I love to read your posts. People who don't want to read your posts do not have to, anymore than people who do not want to read my posts have to read mine. I love anime work. I will love to see the clip you shared with us on youtube. I love Japanese movies. I love animated movies. -

I'm a big fan of Robert young, but I have not seen all of his films yet. -

Rich Man, Poor Girl just aired recently on TCM, at least it did in Canada. I don't think it is what Debra is trying to remember. -
Happy birthday, JR Ewing! I am big fan of Larry Hagman and his mother Mary Martin.
-
Thanks Barton. I appreciate the information and the respectful way in which you give it. The reason I see Mr. Osbourne as TCM is that long before it was available to me, whenever I head TCM mentioned, I would think of him. Thanks again for continuing to give us reliable and concise information on how Mr. Osbourne is doing.

Eric Blore Next: Doctor portayer -
Basil Rathbone, because he was a great swordsman and in a lot of my favourite films of all time. He also attended school with several of my favourites. Next: Would you rather meet William Shatner or Leonard Nimoy - born days apart in 1931, by the way.

Maureen O'Hara was married to John Wayne in Big Jake.

These are lyrics to the title song as sung by Tex. The sheet music is a little different. I loved John Ritter and grew up watching reruns of Three's Company.

Do not forsake me oh my darling On this our wedding day Do not forsake me oh my darling Wait. Wait along. The noon day train will bring Frank Miller If I'm a man I must be brave and I must face a deadly killer Or die a coward a craven coward Or lie a coward in my grave.

I would like him to be able to retire rather than keep going until he dies. That is - if this is what Bob wants. If Bob wants to continue that is up to him. He IS T.C.M. I think Ben was hired by TCM originally because he IS a member of a Hollywood family and a radio host. Stowe has been doing well and she is someone who has seen all the films she introduces. I am trying not to think about Bob anything further than this. I do not want to mourn him before he is gone. I've done that with my favourite celebrities before.

Alice Faye was in In Old Chicago with Tyrone Power.

5) Claire Trevor thought that she would have time to take voice lessons before she had to sing in Key largo, but she was told to sing anyway on the spot. She found this intimidating with the cast looking at her.
