  1. OK, The wind, the wind... And it ends up being a clue.
  2. Shirley MacLaine was in "Ocean's Eleven" with Richard Conte
  3. GPF, Well can you give me a bit more info to support that since it was not the one I was thinking of?
  4. Thanks, Rotating the wrong way.
  5. Right you are. I think of "The Bedford Incident" as anti-war since you see what a mistake can be when nukes are involved. And his fellow Canadian in that one was Michael Kane. You're up.
  6. Yo Yo = Whit Bissell in "Destination Tokyo"
  7. My first thought was "Lifeboat" but then remembered "Rebecca".
  8. Sorry. This actor started out as a sickly child and then almost became an Engineer. One of his early movie roles was a bit part in an anti-war film with another Canadian actor. A few years later his breakout appearance was in another anti-war film. Who is he and what was the name of that first anti-war film?
  9. Torquemada = Lance Henriksen in "The Pit and the Pendulum"
  10. Thanks. In the Miss Marple series with Margaret Rutherford: 1) who was her "assistant" in the different films = list both the character and actor's names 2) what was unique about this actor
  11. "Machete" (and I couldn't stop laughing) Next: barbed wire
  12. There are so many SH movies (and stage and TV) starting back in the early 1900's I can think of only 1 or 2 so far: Laurence Olivier in "The Seven Percent Solution" and Oscar winning, but not as an actor, John Huston in "Sherlock Holmes in NY"
  13. I thought of that too, even though Kitty is mentioned and agree about "Fame" = no legend I could think of.
  14. Two major common points: 1) either dead or alive 2) they had/have parents and may have had siblings
  15. Frank Sinatra = Chairman of the Board Sylvester Stallone = Sly John Barrymore = The Great Profile Greta Garbo = The Face Charlie Chaplin = The Little Tramp Larry Crabbe = Buster Al La Rue = Lash
  16. "Notorious" = to keep Ingrid Bergman calm and quiet
  17. Lister, Tom = Whit Bissell in "Brute Force"
