  1. starlite, yes it was Ms. Gabor. Your thread.
  2. Great to see the rebus making an appearance.
  3. Sorry laffite, I was making a bit of a joke since I had to use Louisa rather than the correct Louise in the movie title. Go ahead and give us another AKA or the thread can go open.
  4. Azure, In the US the movie was released as "The Black Cat" (1934) but then changed to "The House of Doom" for the British release since a black cat is considered a sign of good luck over there.
  5. SGB, Glad I used that name before you changed it. Next: "I'm a marvelous housekeeper. Every time I leave a man, I keep his house."
  6. "Thelma & Louisa"? (Nixon and Adams)
  7. Or at least a foot. "Odishon" it is!! Very good, Lawrence. Pull one out of the bag.
  8. film lover, Thanks, I learn something new each day. Next: This is a movie I had trouble watching through until the end. It is about a widower getting into the dating game and finding a new wife. To say things go a bit wrong is an understatement.
  9. Thanks, I'll leave this thread open. Have fun.
  10. Lawrence, that's the Harry Morgan. Your thread.
  11. Thanks, Lawrence. I was first thinking of Al Pacino as Lefty in "Donny Brasco" but no Oscar nomination. Sticking with "Murder, Inc.", which actor was also a regular panelist on an early TV hit game show and for extra credit name another movie he appeared in?
  12. Clifton Webb Next: Boris Milanovich
  13. Well Conrad Veidt doesn't seem to fit all the clues but he is German and did make movies with at least Joan Crawford and Vivian Leigh. His first movie wasn't a classic but early on he did appear in in the classic "The Cabinet of Dr Caligari".
  14. Frankie Lane in: "Gunfight at the O.K. Corral" "Blazing Saddles" "3:10 to Yuma" and many others Tex Ritter in: "High Noon"
  15. Do you mean like Jose Feliciano singing "Old Turkey Buzzard" at the start of "MacKenna's Gold" but Jose isn't in the movie?
