  1. HOLD the Bulldog!!! "Absence of Malice" "Foreign Correspondent" "It Happened One Night" "Citizen Kane" "His Girl Friday"
  2. Mary Astor Next, sticking with the "L's": Laszlo Lowenstein
  3. Thanks, Lawrence. Sticking with the same general theme: What movie had some publicity stunts, one of which was issuing "puke" or vomit bags labeled with "You may need this when you see ..." at the theaters?
  4. Thanks, PoT, Staying with Desi Arnaz, what TV series did he produce that caused the Mafia to put out a "hit" on him, which was quickly rescinded?
  5. PoT, Thanks for the info on the film with EM. This thread open to whomever wants to have a go.
  6. "The Delicate Delinquent"?
  7. I saw "Thirteen Ghosts" with special "glasses" to see the ghosts. "The Tingler" had buzzers under some seats. "Mr. Sardonicus" voting cards = thumbs up or down. "Macabre" had $1,000 insurance policies for death by fright and even ambulances outside some theaters.
  8. George Segal was in "To Die For" with David Cronenberg
  9. How many movies have won the Top 5 Academy Awards = Best Picture, both Best Acting, Best Director and Best Screenplay and list the movies.
  10. Lawrence, Thanks for this topic and comments. Cringeworthy and human pretty much says it all regarding PSH's roles and performances. My favorite performances so far were in "Boogie Nights" and "Moneyball". But who didn't give a great performance in "Boogie Nights"? Even Ricky Jay was very good.
  11. Kate Hudson was in "Almost Famous" with Zooey Deschanel
  12. For the 1954 version: Charles Bickford
