Godzilla vs Biollante - Second film in the Heisei series of Godzilla films. Godzilla movies are divided into three (maybe four now) groups. The Showa series include everything from the original 1954 Gojira all the way to 1975's Terror of Mechagodzilla, 15 titles in all. The second group is the Heisei series that begins with The Return of Godzilla in 1984 (released in the US as Godzilla 1985) and lasts for 7 films, ending with 1995's Godzilla vs Destroyah. Finally, there's the Millenium series, starting with Godzilla 2000 in 1999, and lasting for 6 films, ending in 2004 with Godzilla: Final Wars. After the release of the recent American Godzilla movie, word is that they are starting up a fourth series in Japan. So now you know.
Great stuff. A monster rosebush against the Big G!! Even has Miki Saegusa doing her telekinesis.
Have you checked out "Barry's Temple of Godzilla"? Some very good info but kinda dated since not much in the way of good movies in over 10 years.
But "Godzilla: Resurgence" is coming from Toho this year, at least in Japan.

"Rounders" it is. I hope you enjoyed the film. I thought Edward Norton was great as Worm.

I'm in a hotel room in Phoenix this morning. I can't find TCM, so I've been watching George Lopez reruns. His show is actually quite funny.
if you are using the airport, check out "Modern Burger" in the A Concourse. Just tried it last week. A seasoned traveler told me about it so had some coming and going and both stops were great = good burgers at reasonable prices in an airport.

That's true, DJ, but also don't forget that this person's last name describes his or her screen persona very aptly.
I was thinking of Joan's great blonde hair.

Thanks for all the great information. My two favorite Holden movies were "The Wild Bunch" and "Network". I can watch them over and over, and do.
