Bill Maher in particular is heading a lg petition drive to remove the THE GREAT ONE JACKIE GLEASON'S statue in frt of the NYC bus terminal, due to him always threating Alice & such THIS IS JUST MORE PC NONSENSE There is also a life size statue of Gleason in frt of the EMMY headquarters, ironically he never even won an EMMY either Art Carney won 3 for THE HONEYMOONERS & Audrey Meadows one, but JACKIE would always lose to Phil silvers in Bilko??? & he only earned 1 Oscar shot for The Hustler He was certain he'd win Best Actor though for Papa's Delicate Condition THE GREAT ONE-(both Orson & Lucy started that nickname) URGENT & HILARIOUS CHECK OUT THE CLIP ON YIOUTUBE OF JOHN HERBERT GLEASON-(Irish) tripping on LSD in Skidoo He was also robbed of a s. actor shot opposite Hanks ion 1986's terrific Nothing in Common

  5. Finally just got to view SINATRA'S rarely known 1956 Western Johnny Concho (barely ***) it's among only a handful of THE CHAIRMAN'S 58 flix I had yet to see & TCM rarely if ever airs it? This time of all people he played a coward of sorts vs William Conrad the MVP of the picture FRANK made 4 Westerns, can you guess them?
