  2. & again to me pal Topbilled, if you had been limited to only 1 film what would it be buddy-(& I ask the same of rest of you guys?) I'm well aware TCM for some ridiculous rational; still has the rights to the *Godfather-Trilogy? Or *Walt's animated features for that matter So for this 18yr fan I'd have to select the greatest picture ever made in *Orson's 1941 "Citizen Kane" Which in a likeliehood would have already been chosen, soi I'd select my A @1 idol *"The Great: Tracy's" own favorite favorite-(accordijng to his diary) & mine 1937's Rudyard Kipling's Adventure "Captains Courageous" (M-G-M) NOW, I THREW MY FEDORA IN THE RING DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THE GUTS TO DO SO???
  3. No buddy, I only had a one shot deal with Backlot! Too ill, tired, financially strapped & cannpot pay that $87.00 per year At first the guy tried to tell me it was $87 per month? But saved all the stuff, badge, t-shirt & a lotta' other neat stuff. Maybe someday if I;'m still here huh AGAIN TO TOPBILLED, who did the 2018 TCM GP select as his #1 choice?
  4. To speedracer, do me another favor & just throw in your own 2 cents, maybe to get the ball rolling or something My closest pals on here (mongo, jakeem, topbilled & LawrenceA) contributed nada for some reason? THANK YOU & IF YOU ONLY DESIRE JUST VOTE FOR ONE OPICTURE IN EACH GENRE if you may recall that's how this topic started out

  6. Also pal, how do I alter my heading on a topic. Think you helped me before & have you had time to check out that huge item I tried in 2 days-(thanx to tcm, etc) to finally post?
  7. Paul Agguyiure as you know was it's debut "GP" & he goit to air (4) flix, this guy only (1) apparently though? Whats his name? & IF YOU COULD AIR EITHER (1) OR BETTER YET (4) WOULD WOULD THEY BE???
  8. Not really anymore, just couldn't keep up to the extra $87.00 per month, especially with my health & likely all of a sussen & out of the blow moving after 4yrs & never once being late with the rent or complaints Landlord wants to renovate & raise the damn rent is all My mother uses a walker & I have screeching headaches, plus ongoing lumbar back trouble sine 19988!
  9. NOPE, just wanted to find out what the newest guy-(bald) chose to aiur As you know they are ridiculously limit4edc to only one selection, where is last yrs winner got to air (4)

Nice list Lawrence, but as usual it's horse-racin' & left outa couple I'd include Always a huge fan & far ahead of the time was 1982's "BR" ($33m.) & Haur des a s. actor nomination, not so for me with the sequel though (**-oput of 4) DUNKIRK (strong ***-out of 4) THREE BILLBOARDS...(TREMENDOUS & ALREADY AMONG MY % FOR THIS PATHETIC DECADE) WHOOPS, now "mother!" is an entirely different story buddy!!! Only went for "MARVELOUS MICHELLE" & it was probably among the worst new releases I ever attended & kept getting worse & louder too! I never in 36yrs left a theater, but only Michelle kept me from doing so Barely hit $18m. & NOT TO MENTIOJN THAT GOD AWFUL SCENE OR SCENES WITH THE BABY, YUK BUDDY! OUR BIGGEST SPLIT EVER & SAME DIRECTOR HELMED THE TERRIFIC 98 "THE WRESTLER" (***1/2) Speaking of"Three Billboards..." went twice & sooo original too! 22. WHAT A TOTAL BUMER YOU FELLOW BUDDIES I can always count on you TCM_iTES, for classic trivia, views, stats & jazz, the others mostly want to talk about those disgusting Kardashian; Cyrus & more of that ilk There are true "NAME ABOVE THE TITLE STARS" these days, they put on it all, but there are only still a handful *"The Chairman" *Nicholson, *Streep, *Grace Kelly, *Sandy, *Nicole, Harrison Ford, *De Niro, etc & now they show up in their rap entire at premiere's, as opposed to the legendary Cary Grant! Thoiugh to be fair I did once catch Archie Leach getting out of his limo with gold chains, baggie paints & cap turned around, anybody reminder that HE WAS THE QUINTESSIENTIAL MOVIE STAR during his era, but was drawn as to who he truly was? Hence the LSD-(Acid) his dr prescriobed him in mid to late 1960's
