Yes, I just verified it with the list in the SUTS sub-forum. Surprisingly, Walter Brennan has not yet had a day in August.
He's had birthday tributes (daytime schedule).
know it sounds off the wall, but look at his career & they seem to be running out once in awhile

Who was the individual that mocked JOHN WAYNE by the way? Don't think that's ever been done in cinema history

He admitted that playing characters who wore makeup allowed him to get more acting roles. He tended to do a good job in them.
The missed to boat on so many & unlike an Oscar as most know recipient must accept in person

I believe I read Clooney announced his time as an actor was probably close to an end. He's certainly slowed down his work schedule. I just checked his imdb page. He's got a movie called The Midnight Sky, which he also directed, in post-production and due out this year, though given the current chaos, who knows. That would be his first theatrical film in four years. So, it's possible he's pretty much put in his "lifetime" already.
split on Clooney with you-(though did not think he already deserved the afi honor) Matter of fact S. King used to write for EW mag & did a pc on the coolest living actors/actresses & he was among his picks, plus De Niro, Freeman, Spacey, Nicholson, Jodie Foster and Holly Hunter

Shorts is a sound idea. That way if anyone doesn't like what they are watching they don't have to wait too long until something else is shown.
I see you liked my post but I assume you understood I was cracking wise.
I would like to see all the Columbia crime serials like Boston B-l-a-c-k-i-e, Crime Doctor, Rusty, etc.. Of course they don't have to be Columbia (e.g. WB's Nancy Drew with Bonita Granville would be great). Most of these run under 70 or so minutes so like shorts, if one doesn't like something,,, well as Carol said to William at the end of My Man Godfrey, "it will all be over in a minute".
While these are about crime most of them are light-hearted.
They seem to rarely if ever air the dogs anymore from the early '30's

Hollywoods Golden Age & Studio-System-(l925-60) the most for this person

was always interested in seeing what films somebody chooses, in some ways it defines that moviebuff and individual

Just thought about this, what if it takes over a year?
-
usually when not watching the tv, talk radio, etc Sinatra, Madonna-(though must see her simultaneously!)
-
I know of at least ten others that got dug in as they say & had a bunch of films all ready to watch, etc Which one's would you choose if in same position?
-
Have to look in my files & or books, don't think the magnificent O'TOOLE got it either
-
AFI stunningly snubbed JOHN WAYNE, CARY GRANT, MITCHUM, KATE & GARBO wouldn't have accepted it anyway & CHAPLIN above all GREAT TRACY wouldn't have also accepted it had he been around
-
Personally I like her ok, but think there are still a few living individuals that still shoulda been before her, anyone agree
Hopkins & Duvall come to mind
-
Like POSEIDON (2006) ($60m.) (**) surprised they didn't try and remake it as well

Never saw all of it, but A. Strain & 1995's Outbreak come to mind, other then that there are not a dozen films that deal with this type of thing, or are there?
