  2. There were several silent films superior to WINGS (**1/2) that may have qualified that year, especially THE CROWD, or THE GENERAL But L.B. Mayer detested THE CROWD, even being from MGM BROADWAY MELODY must be the worst yet???

  23. Obviously tcm still doesn't own the rights to what are arguably the greatest motion pictures ever made, but will they ever? Just saw a lg interview with Coppola, Duvall, De Niro, Pacino,Shire, Caan,etc It can be found on youtube P,s obviously somebody was missing here?
