For 1957, my favorite film is An Affair to Remember! Honorable mentions: 12 Angry Men and Witness for the Prosecution.

The Ten Commandments, is my favorite film of 1956! Not only are the colors beautiful, and has a cast of thousands; its sentimental to my family. Every year, my mom, dad, brother and myself watch this around Easter!! Honorable mentions: A Cry in the Night, The Searchers and Giant. (Like I said, I haven't seen The King and I yet, but I will!)

As I mentioned this one earlier too, with a different gif. Rebel Without a Cause, is my favorite film of 1955, and one of my favorite films of all time!! I find Natalie was so beautiful in this film (as she was in all her other films, but she was more natural here)!! Honorable mentions: To Catch a Thief, East of Eden, Blackboard Jungle, and My Sister Eileen.

White Christmas is my favorite film of 1954! Honorable mentions (1954 was another good year): Rear Window, On the Waterfront, Dial M for Murder, and Brigadoon.

The Band Wagon, is my favorite movie of 1953, and one of my overall favorites! I love the murder mystery in jazz, and Cyd Charisse is so seductive!!!

On the Town, my favorite film of 1949! Vera Ellen, Gene Kelly, and Frank Sinatra! *Interesting tidbit, I read that for this movie, Frank Sinatra requested a padded butt. In those Navy uniforms, I guess he didn't measure up to Gene Kelly in the caboose. lol

The Harvey Girls, is my favorite film for 1946! Judy Garland, Cyd Charisse and Angela Lansbury; absolutely!! It just occurred to me, 1946 was a wonderful year in film. Honorable mentions to: The Blue Dahlia, The Big Sleep, It's a Wonderful Life (#2), The Postman Always Rings Twice, and Till the Clouds Roll By.
