That's what I was originally thinking. I then started thinking how each decade had some of my favorites. Lol Nevertheless, it's updated.

[Poll] What is your favorite decade(s) for films?! You can discuss in the forum why you chose what. Use pictures, videos, quotes! Let's have fun with this!!

It was a great movie! James Garner had most of my attention, but Steve McQueen and the other actors were great too!!! I'm wondering if they filmed in Austria/Germany/Switzerland, beautiful scenery. Valid point about the 50. Still disheartening, like Schindler's List.

I just watched Lydia (1941) for the first time, and also enjoyed it!

I just watched The Great Escape (1963) for the first time last night and enjoyed it very much. It was sad, and made me angry, but a great movie.

I believe I was chatting with GregoryPeckFan and we were talking about Richard Burton. It had occurred to me that while I knew who he was, and thought he and Elizabeth Taylor made a good looking couple (tumultuous as well) that I had never seen one of his movies before. Well, TCM recently showed My Cousin Rachel (1952) with Olivia De Havilland and I enjoyed the movie very much!

Cary Grant, Paul Newman, James Garner, Gregory Peck, Gary Cooper, etc have all been mentioned already so I won't post photos of them. There's no denying Rock Hudson should also be added to this list.
