  1. There was a lot of singing. It may be classified as a musical. It could have been Ginger, but I don't think the man in the movie was Fred.
  2. I saw most of the movie, and the entire portion I saw was on the ship. I don't think the movie was in color. I seem to remember the scenes in the dining room being sepia colors. I have seen "An affair to Remember", and I don't think this is the movie.
  3. I saw the latest version of Titanic, and don't remember the movie that I'm looking for to be similar to that story line. It may be "The Lady Eve" though. Although I think there was more singing in the movie I'm looking for than "The Lady Eve" may have. I remember the movie that I'm looking for had love "tension" between the two main characters. The man had dark hair (I think he looked like Carey Grant) and I think the woman had light hair. The woman was falling in love with the man, but for some reason the man did not want to have any kind of committed relationship. He seemed like a "womanizer". Maybe this helps???
  4. I saw the movie Feb/Mar 2001 on TCM. The movie takes place on a cruise ship. The two main characters are in cabins across the hall from each other. The woman pretends to be sick in her cabin a lot. There were a lot of scenes in the dinning room on the ship-also was singing in the dinning room. I have seen "Romance on the High Seas" and this is not the movie.
