  1. > I know he's not in any movies, but what about > CineSage Jr? (the King of Correct Spelling and > Grammar) I could think of others worse than cinesage.

I feel sorry for the Hawaiians, they'll be getting this crap at prime time.
  3. I think he's referring to the sleazy Russ Meyer films.
  4. "Marjorie Reynolds / Dude Cowboy" Tim Holt/Bandit Ranger
  5. I think this was the last correct post: > > Beryl Mercer / Broken Chains so I say Colleen Moore/Smiling Irish Eyes
  6. You're A Sweetheart is a Universal from 1937, which may be one of the studios they don't have access to. I always forget all the rules on that.
  7. I agree with you too. These films were made when times were different. Some people go overboard. I love GWTW and I enjoyed SOFS when I was a child.
  8. Martha Hyer - The Carpetbaggers Carroll Baker/Baby Doll
  9. Edie Adams - The Apartment Shirley MacLaine/Some Came Running
  10. Young Frankenstein was a great movie, but none of the others he did are classics in my book.
  11. > A new series called IDOLS. Where stars of today > interview stars of yesterday that influenced them in > their careers. > > This must have already been filmed because Baldwin is > starring in an NBC weekly show called Rock 30 or > something like that. > > the 'yesterday' stars must be from the 70's and 80's > because all of the greats from the Golden Age are > gone now, with a few exceptions who are in rest > homes, and/or fully unavailable for interviews. But > I can't see Baldwin as an inspiration for anyone. Looks like you're right, as Gene Wilder is from the 70's.
  12. I love the Busby Berkeley musicals, and can only imagine how spectacular those looked live in color. I think they are much better than some of the over the top 50's musicals like Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
  13. I posted this in another thread, but since they are promoting a Louise Brooks DVD, why can't they show her movies? She should have a month.
  14. Doris Day Clint Eastwood Rick Moranis Walter Matthau Paul Williams Robin Williams Bette Midler Cher Goldie Hawn Mickey Rooney
  15. I'd like to see some Louise Brooks movies. Why doesn't TCM show these?
  16. I'm with you patful. Those are my favorites. Now I just wish they would show them at primetime and on the weekends when I am home to see them. Until then I just keep recording.
  17. I agree with you guys, but nowadays it looks like anything goes. I have noticed the DVDs at the shopping site are much higher priced than other places.
  18. Hey tomagain, welcome back.
  19. Not me, it's my all time favorite movie.
  20. That annoying little girl that played Bonnie Blue Butler in GWTW. I was not so upset when she was killed off. They really could have done better.
