I don't think it had much impact at all, I for one never watched any of those shows since I was too young back then.

I'm not happy about this, I have been able to watch movies with my boyfriend on the east coast at the same time here. Now we won't be able to do that anymore.

You can't compare Robert Osborne interviewing stars on TCM with a tv show from the 70's.

I have to agree with movielover and charli, Brando was Yummy - as long as he didn't talk.

I love Lady in the Lake, I liked how the camera was used through his line of vision showing us views we normally don't see in a movie.

White Christmas, Gone With the Wind, Some Like it Hot, The Birds, The Bad Seed, ........I'm sure I'll think of more later.....

I've never understood all the hoopla about Steve McQueen, he was mediocre.

My fiance was able to watch this today and is kicking himself for not recording it, thinking it was just another Laurel and Hardy movie. I guess I missed a really good one. Who knows when TCM will show this again?

I do wish TCM would showcase more film noir, the pathetic attempt at showing one movie on Saturdays at 5am last month just didn't cut it.

I realize World of Suzie Wong is finally on DVD, that is how I was able to watch it, I just wondered why TCM doesn't show it. Movies like Benji and Bad News Bears are on DVD but they get lots of airtime on TCM.
