  1. In soon to be our least listened to episode as Jarrett and RJ can’t stop talking, things get started with a discussion about horror fiction and their recommendations. This comes as a surprise to many as no one thought either of these two could read. After that, they proceed to talk for two **** hours about horror movies. They hit on all the Big Topics: Racism and Ghost Rape. So, uh, that’s all appealing, right? Introduction is Claudio Simonetti’s “Phenomena”, and musical interludes are Michael Holm’s “Liebesthema” and Philip Glass’ “You Always Belonged To Me, Helen”. 5. Welcome to the Criterion Creeps podcast. A podcast hosted by two chums (Jarrett Duncan and RJ Balog) talking about the Criterion Collection in chronological order. But hold your horses, this is the first Ghoul School Special!? What the ****? Yeah, so we're doing this because it is HALLOWEEN MONTH for us movie viewing ghouls, and we decided to break up the torrential flow of Criterion Creeping with some... Ghoul School? RJ and Jarrett are busy watching those horror movies so we figured we might as well keep all that talk in one place just in case people start getting mad about this being a Criterion Collection thing (but hey, they might think we're already assholes going astray when we are 'on course'). We hope to do several of these this month, and every October going forward, but don't fret as will still be doing a weekly episode covering the next creep up that Criterion spine (hi, Salo!) as you've come to expect. This episode actually serves as an origin story of this whole podcast itself with the forging of RJ and Jarrett's friendship over this horror ****. How we started with this stuff, first theatrical horror, how we were traumatized by sadistic parents, the whole shebang! Then we get into what we've watched so far this month! It's a gooder. Introduction is 'Main Theme from The Fog' by John Carpenter, and musical interludes are Goblin's "La Caccia" and Christopher Young's "Main Theme" from Hellraiser. RJ watched FARGO again and FARGO Season 1. Jarrett rewatched some horror, the likes of CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST, FROM BEYOND, DAGON, and some GHOUL SCHOOL. John Carpenter called Rob Zombie a piece of ****, but that's old news, and some people have nothing better to do than to complain about Halloween decorations. Introduction is 'Criterion Creeps Theme' by petite petite, and musical interludes are Tori Amos' "Samurai" and Iron Maiden's "Sun and Steel".
