  1. Hi Stephen - Thanks for the reply. Since posting, I realized two things. First, although the forum is for TCM.com, this is actually a TCM On Demand problem. I don't think there's a forum for On Demand. In other words, this is through the Xfinity On Demand feature, directly on my TV. I don't go through a laptop or tablet. And I think this is a TCM problem. I have never seen this skipping or out-of-sync problem on anything else I've watched on demand. Second, I did try the TCM app on my tablet. Here there's no skipping, and everything is in sync. I'll try casting from the tablet to the TV to watch the movie. It's a little more awkward than watching on cable, but I really want to see this movie. So this is what you did, when you watched on your laptop. We've shown that this works. Thanks for your reply. It narrows down the issue. Michael
  2. "Third Finger, Left Hand" is now on demand. Our provider is Xfinity. At exactly 4:25, the film sputters and then goes about 4 seconds out of sync. This happens in SD and HD. This happens fairly regularly with TCM on demand. What I want to know is this: Is there a way to get this fixed? Is there a way to report when this happens? Does TCM want to know when it happens? I'm happy to report it when it does, if anyone is going to listen. Thanks.
  3. I tried to watch "Give a Girl a Break" last night, but it was out of sync - the audio was about 3 seconds ahead of the video. I've had this problem with some of the older movies before, especially those from the '30s. When I've tried to go back and watch those, they were still out of sync. I don't know what the problem is, so I don't know what the solution is. Anybody? Thanks.
  4. I use my Xfinity account to watch TCM On Demand using Google Chrome. This worked until mid-August. At that point, a few minutes into the movie, I get a "Shockwave Flash Crash" message. This has happened every time I try to watch a movie. It does not happen when I watch movies on other sites such as FXM. It does happen with other browsers as well, although I mainly use Chrome because I want to cast to the TV. I looked at other posts about problems with Chrome and Shockwave. I do not have Ad Block installed. I have only one instance of Flash installed. I have the most up-to-date Chrome (52.0.2743.116 m) and Shockwave player (12.2). The latest info I can find online is this: http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/how-to/internet/how-stop-shockwave-flash-crashing-in-google-chrome-dead-3332967/. It says that "as of September 2016 (in Chrome v53), Google Chrome will no longer support Adobe Flash." It also says that any problems are probably those of the Flash content provider. I don't know if this applies to TCM. I'd appreciate any help on this. I'm missing a lot of movies. Thanks.
