I love everything said in "My Man Godfrey".
Ooh, and The Philadelphia Story:
Liz: They have a cousin who is definitly crazy.
Mike: How do you know?
Liz: Dinah told me.
Mike: Dinah would know!
Mike: Doggonit C.K. Dexter Haven, either I'm gunna sock you or you're gunna sock me!
Dexter: Shall we toss a coin?
Bringing Up Baby:
Aunt Elizabeth: You look perfectly ridiculous in those clothes.
David: These aren't my clothes. I've lost my clothes.
Aunt Elizabeth: Well, why are you wearing these clothes.
David: Because I just went GAY all of a sudden!
David: I'm a nut from Brazil!
and North by Northwest:
Roger: Not that I mind a slight case of abduction now and then, but I have tickets to the theater this evening, to a show I was looking forward to, and I get well, kind of unreasonable about things like that.
Van Dam: With such expert play acting you make this very room a theater.

I just started watching classic movies somewhat recently. But I remember watching "My Fair Lady" when I was in 4th grade (I'm 15 now- 10th grade). I remember just being captivated by the outfits and the songs, and how mean Higgins was to Eliza, haha. Still a favorite of mine.
About two years ago I couldn't sleep one night and AMC had "An Affair to Remember" on. I stayed up til 2AM to watch the whole thing and I remember crying at the end, and my mom heard me and came in to ask me what was wrong, lol.

William Powell in "My Man Godrey" where he walks in when Irene and Molly are crying and he sings something along the lines of "Tommorow may bring sorrow, so tonight we're gunna be gay!"
Can't forget Jimmy Stewart in "The Philadelphia Story"- brilliant! and Cary Grant in "North by Northwest"- 'How much bourbon would you say that you've consumed?' *spreads arms* 'This much' -haha, classic!

Hmm..I don't know if I'll be able to make five, I'll try.
In no order:
1. Bing Crosby
2. Robert Mitchum
3. Sophia Loren
4. Loretta Young
5. Doris Day
*sigh* That was actually pretty hard to do. With the exception of Bing Crosby, he'll always be on that list.
