if you're tech savvy with iOS... on the watch TCM app, there's an option to "subscribe" to actors/directors and get alerted when films/content featuring them are added to Watch TCM. similarly, there's an option to get an alert when a specific movie is added. BUT I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THIS WORKS (and i'm not sure it even does work???) i've never received an alert for any of my subscriptions, and i noticed there no setting for iphone push notifications for the Watch TCM app. i could also not find a place inside the Watch TCM app for notification settings anyone know how this feature works?? please help

tbh it's probably because of filmstruck (which i think has an Apple TV app) why make an app with free movies for AppleTV when you can pay for a subscription that they make more money from?
