I remember him specifically in some of the Road to movies with Hope/Crosby. The main reason I was trying to figure out is name is we know a man who looks just like him... swear it! -
The first one sounds a lot like "Ten Little Indians" which I believe is an Agatha Christie story. There were several remakes of it. check IMDB. Can't help on the other.

Jerry Colanna - that's him! Thanks a gazillion! I've been trying to figure him out for months. -
He has a very thick mustache and kind of bug-eyed. I believe he was a character actor in old black and white films. Does anyone know his name?
