Hmmm, this one's a real thinker... After careful thought I'd be Audrey Hepburn. She's just SO classic! Even though she was an immensely popular actress (and still is today) she always had an air about her that screamed "I'm a real person". She was just so down to earth. Plus, all her work with UNICEF and her children's funds. Then again, Marilyn Monroe...'cause she was loved by many and she was a total sex kitten!

Baby, the leopard, from Bringing Up Baby (1938)...oh and the dog from the same movie just makes it even funnier that a woman from the era has a wild animal for a pet!

Oh yeah right! Hmmm...so that's how it happened! LOL

Dinner with Jo Stockton (Funny Face 1957) would be fabulous! She'd probably want to meet at a swanky hole in the wall night club! Imagine the conversation, especially since she's in search of "empathicalism" (putting yourself in another persons shoes in order to empathize with them). --OR-- Jan Morrow (Pillow Talk 1959)...we'd have brunch at some up-scale hotel and chat about her design firm and the latest phone conversation! (can you tell I'm a huge Doris Day, Audrey Hepburn fan? LOL)

I am really suprised to see that there are actually people my age that enjoy the classics! I'm 23 and just started on these boards the other day...If I ever wanted to talk about a great movie I just saw I'd have to go to my mother or grandmother, no my friends 'cause they just didn't understand! This is fantastic!

thanks so much! i really love old movies (especially from the 50's and 60's) so I thought I'd try to find a place to chat about it; there's really no one my age that enjoys these types of movies. I'm sure I'll use this frequently! -

I think someone has a little problemo! What's the deal with your reply? you didn't have to be as rude as you were...geesh! what happened to your common sense and manners! -
Hi there! For the life of me I can't remember what one of Natalie Wood movies is called! (at least I think it's her, but none of the titles listed in her filmography jump out at me) Her character in the movie is that of a african american teenager who wants to be white. She disowned her housekeeper mother and left to be a performer. In the end she comes back when her mother dies. Any help would be wonderful!
