Anyone else out there like the comedy shorts like Bergen and McCarthy, Jack Benny, Shemp Howard, etc. etc.? I'd love to see TCM schedule their "Festival of Shorts" on a regular basis. For example, they could squeeze all of the Charlie McCarthy shorts into a two-hour festival. Have Robert Osborne introduce them at the opening and then let 'em air back-to-back for the rest of the two hour time slot. Better yet, how about a "Festival" of the MGM Three Stooges shorts -- I first saw those on TNT about 15 years ago!
Also, how about including in your daily on-line schedule the shorts that you show between the features? I can understand why you can't include them in the monthly schedule, but it should be practical to include them in the daily schedule -- which I assume is updated daily.
Anyone else out there in favor of doing this?
Other than that, keep up the great work and happy 10th anniversary, TCM!!!
