I couldn't agree more about the ending. The first time I saw it I fell for it hook line and sinker. The fracture thumb would be consistent with the way he used and held it. Thanks

I am watching The Sting and never get tired of it. Does anyone ever know what was wrong with Mr. Redford's right thumb? He is obviously protecting it and it is more than just acting.
