  1. For anyone who finds this thread in the future, please know that local chapters have been discontinued. The Facebook group mentioned above has become the Central Florida TCM Classic Film Lovers group, but is not affiliated with TCM and has had no activity since January 2020. You're still of course, welcome to try it, but I am no longer an administrator for it.
  2. It looks like we are one e-mail address away from becoming an official chapter. Talk to any of your friends who are also Backlot members!
  3. Our group is still small and unofficial, but we still have plans to meet up for the TCM screening of the The Big Lebowski at 2pm on Sunday August 5 at: Regal Cinemas Pavilion 14 & RPX 5547 S. Williamson Blvd., Port Orange, Florida 32128
  4. I'm also thinking of actually calling the group the Central Florida chapter.
  5. Go ahead and message me you e-mail addresses, I'm waiting to hear from the others. This might do it.
  6. Next meet-up is The Big Lebowski August 5, same location. I'll post more about it here later. First thing we need to become official is at least 5 people who are already Backlot members. We're not quite there yet. More information can be found here: https://www.tcmbacklot.com/local-chapters
  7. DD and Debbie, Our next scheduled meet-up is for the Sunday, July 15 TCM screening of Big at the Pavillon theater at 5547 S. Williamson Blvd., Port Orange, Florida 32128. Feel free to join us. Ticket information can be found here: https://www.fathomevents.com/events/tcm2018-big-30th-anniversary You're welcome to join us!
  8. Hi, Debbie. Currently there are three of us scattered across Central Florida and we have started having meet-ups for the TCM screenings at a theater in Port Orange. We need five to become an official chapter.
  9. I've had a Facebook group for the Orlando area started since last June. There's actually enough members to get going, but they're a quiet bunch, and we really can't get the ball swinging without any kind of dialogue going. If there's anybody in the Orlando area interested in starting a local chapter, please respond here or come join the Facebook group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1536584983091205/
