Sorry I haven't been here in a while but let me just say COOL to roldfilm's post. I never thoght of it that way. Okay let me try, WB must of had a rough, gritty, kinda dirty street feel to it, Paramount maybe had a magestic feel to it as the logo implies, Columbia had a cheap feel to it (ha ha), RKO had a modern streame lined look, and Fox had a epic feel to it. Ah, another quality b&w has that color can't but don't get me wrong I love Technicolor and I know I'm probably wrong on a lot of the above.

You get outraged at the movie theater if you dont get a cartoon and a newsreel.

Hey I have a question for all you "oldies but goodies" out there. Try to remember exactlly what a movie on its first release looked liked. Now when they restore a film to its very originality, does it look the same or not?

I'm only 3 and a 1/2 years old.

Tcm shows way too much mgm. I'd like to see more paramount, universal, and columbia. And they seem to only show wb and mgm cartoons. Turner enterprises does have a whole lot in their library because over in europe and such they show columbia screen gems over there on their cartoon network. Is there a tcm over there.

2 words, "BLUES BROTHERS".

"Tommy Boy" was funny. And "Men in Black" with tentacles throwing Will Smith.

Frank Tashlin (Tish Tash) was good. Anybody remember "Porky Pigs Feet".

EASTER PARADE. Jules Munshin is so funny there from everyone leaving and not eating anything there "Dinner for three...two...one" and him getting mad in his snooty french character to his salad act. "the onion...so gay" with big closeup on face?

This may be very controversal, its not even my favorite I just think its a clever line, Blazing Saddles where the two main charaters are playing the bait to lure the **** members, "Yoo hoo boys," "Hey where all the white women at". That just ticked the **** members off so much, a "sissy" man and a black man who (in their minds) wanted to mess with "their" women.

Any line from the FOX BATMAN movie. Still like the movie though and like the dvd price better.

Thank you so much. Yes I was worried about them being bad prints. As for the 1937 title lets hope wb will release a good version of it along with other David O. Selznick movies (especially technicolor ones) and a collectors edition GONE WITH THE WIND.

Hello I'm new here. I realy need some information on the JUDY GARLAND SIGNATURE COLLECTION. All signs point good towards it. Its released by WARNER BROTHERS so thats a good sign, it was on the same release date as the five new releases (april 6th), and it even has four of them except MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS 2 disc of course plus other movies. I'm usualy very weary about boxsets sometimes though because what if its versions of poorer quality that maybe wb wants to use. You want them all to be restored, uncut, nothing altered and A STAR IS BORN (which is included in the collection) to be letterboxed. Do you think theyre the same ones that you can get individualy? Its at amazon but not tcm or movies unlimited which was strange to me. Any information will be greatly apreciated. Also I saw where there are many versions of the 1937 A STAR IS BORN and all the descriptions say that its in b&w. I thought that movie was originally in technicolor. Thank you.

anyone else?

He could come on in a silent movie fashion with organ music and big title cards that say "HI, I'M ROBERT OSBOURN!".
